Gangs of riders on mopeds seem to be the 'in thing' this month. Schools are obviously out for the summer and hordes of 16-year-olds have got their machines ready to visit the beach. Riding in groups can be beneficial as long as all concerned know their limits and consideration is given to each rider but this group of eight riders decided to hold a wheelie competition along one of our busiest roads leading to Mumbles. They caused complete disruption on a sunny Sunday afternoon when two of them collided with each other - one ended up in hospital and the accident caused tailbacks for several miles.
